Tina Hines’ heart stopped for 27 minutes, but she revived and returned with an important message to share with her loved ones.
It’s normal to wonder if heaven is real. We’ll never know until we die. Some people say they’ve seen it, but almost everyone can claim it.So whose word would you trust?
Well, Tina Hines was declared medically dead for 27 minutes before she was revived.And in those 27 minutes, according to her, something remarkable happened. Something that few people could even say.
It happened when Hines had a sudden cardiac arrest while walking with her husband.
Otherwise, Tina was healthy, so neither of them expected this.
But she was losing consciousness and not breathing or moving at all.Brian, her husband, did everything he could. He performed CPR but it did little. She regained consciousness for a few seconds before returning to unconsciousness.
This was serious.Tina was showing no signs of life.They rushed her to the hospital, still trying to resuscitate her.
Things weren’t looking good and Tina’s family was praying harder than ever.
Tina’s sister Tammy and her husband Dave were also going to be with Tina too. They were driving from Los Angeles so it’d be a long trip.
But while they were in the car, Tammy said something strange to Dave.
Tina’s sister said that she suddenly found peace, that Tina would be all right.
It was a miracle.She was alive…
Tina woke up in the intensive care unit, although she was still lethargic and weak. Brian came in to see his wife for the first time since she passed out.
The next day, when Tina’s condition improved even more, she tried to breathe without a ventilator.
She signaled for a pen and paper.She scribbled a few seemingly random lines and shapes on the paper. But when they looked closely, they were actually words… “It’s real”.
Tina’s husband wondered if she meant the pain or something else. But that wasn’t it.
Tina says that in those 27 minutes she saw Jesus and the gates of heaven. She described it as the most peaceful thing, and that he had this radiant, gentle yellow glow behind him.
She left the hospital without any permanent head injuries.
Trina’s niece got Tina’s «It’s Real» tattooed on her wrist, saying:“Her story is too real not to share and has given me a stronger confidence in a faith that so often goes unseen.”
Her family’s faith was already quite strong, but Tina’s supposed encounter with the Lord likely changed everything for them.
