They say that anything can happen on Halloween.Or, in this case, an owl can turn into a witch.
The photo began to circulate on the Internet just in time for the spooky season.On October 13, Eric Lind posted photos of a great horned owl flying around Eureka, Illinois, where his parents lived.
The owl stole one of these toy horses and flew with it.
It looked as if he was a witch flying through the autumn sky on a broom.
Lind was able to take a picture of the bird after a neighbor called them and told them to look out the window.
“My mom received a call from one of the neighbors telling her to look outside in the backyard at our pine tree,”said Lind. “They had spotted the owl as it flew into the tree initially, but couldn’t quite tell what it was carrying at first.”
Lind and his family spotted the owl and realized that the owl had a stick horse. Some commented that the owl might have been attracted to this because the horse’s head looked like furry prey.
Lind posted his photos and video on social media, where it went viral.
Some people have mentioned their concerns about the owl.
Lind said that he and his family were very “shocked” and “surprised” by what they saw after their neighbor told them to look outside.
There was no information about what happened to the owl and his stick, but hopefully he still has a favorite toy.
