When pets pass away unexpectedly, it’s always heartbreaking. The only thing you can do is to remember the best days with your dog.
Wrangler was only 6 years old when he passed away. The sad news of his death touched many people across the United States because in his younger days, Wrangler was the featured character on NBC’s Today’s «Puppy With a Purpose.»
It was found that the cause of his premature death was liver disease.
Wrangler’s original handler posted on Instagram that in his short time, the Lab has accomplished more than most humans. He was a service dog, then he worked as a guide dog and, finally, he guarded all of us working in the K9 police department.
Wrangler has grown up in front of thousands of people. He was just 8 months old when he started filming for NBC Today. He appeared on 288 episodes of the show.
It was hard to realize that in 2016 he said goodbye to all of us.
Rest in peace, Wrangler.You passed away young, but your purposeful personality will long remain a shining example for many of us.
