Nancy the Doberman ended up in a junkyard with her back broken after being thoroughly beaten by her attacker, writes ilovemydogsomuchThe Monster knew no one would find the emaciated dog in the deserted dump and she would eventually succumb to her injuries. But Nancy was desperate to survive.
Nancy became paralyzed from the beatings she received, but began to crawl through the shards of glass and metal scattered throughout the junkyard.
She was bleeding and had tears in her eyes, but she didn’t want to give up. Fortunately, someone finally noticed her and rushed her to the hospital and prayed for her life.
In this video, we see Nancy’s traumatic time in the hospital as she tries to come to terms with her paralyzed state. Vets are performing difficult surgery to repair her damaged spine, but Nancy’s movement remains severely restricted.
In fact, his hind legs had no movement. Her caregivers decide to send her to a rehabilitation center where she can receive additional treatment.
With continued hydrotherapy, massage and treadmill exercises, Nancy’s front legs slowly healed after a rigorous few months. However, his hind legs were still mostly unresponsive.
The rescuers didn’t want the sweet girl in much pain, so they bought her a wheelchair which allowed her to play and socialize with other rescue dogs!
