A homeless puppy girl appeared in the village. The baby was lucky — the employees of the local boiler house liked her, and they began to feed her regularly. The rest of the time the grown dog ran around the village and played with the children.
Soon she began to come to warm herself in the porch of the house where a girl named Yulia Mikhailova, who was not indifferent to animals, lived. The dog sat at the window, looked out into the street and sometimes described what was happening behind the glass with a short bark.
The locals named the pet Alice and even sterilized her.
For several years the dog ran around the village, quite pleased with his life. But one day she was bitten by stray dogs. Most likely, these were not local animals, because “their own” never offended Alice.
For help, the baby came to the door to Julia’s apartment. The girl took the poor to the vet, and then took her home to cure her. When Alice recovered, she again went outside. Two months later, trouble happened to her again: the baby badly injured her paw. And for help, she again came to Yulia’s door.
The girl again began to take care of the dog, and then realized that she did not want to let her go back to the street. So Alice became home. By the way, Julia is surprised that the former mongrel turned out to be much more obedient than her older dog.
