The owners left the dog on the street under the door in severe frosts, but at that time they themselves were sitting warm

Winter is a particularly difficult time of the year for street animals, because nature simply didn’t adapt them to the fact that they must meet frosts on the street. All participants in this story learned about how it’s difficult for animals to survive when it’s cold outside.

In the morning was heard the call to the animal rescue service . On this day it was very cold outside. The woman who called was worried about the dog, which was freezing before her eyes. The woman said that she saw the dog in the neighboring yard, but she couldn’t get there, because the neighbors didn’t open the gate for her.

Volunteers who arrived at the scene saw a dog that was lying in front of the house’s door and was already barely breathing, saying goodbye to life. The yard was surrounded by a high fence, so the woman who called could not get help.

The owners left the small dog to die under the door.Outside, the entire door was scratched. This was a clear indication that the animal had been trying to get inside for a long time, desperately fighting for its life. But the owners of the dog remained indifferent to her requests for help.

Volunteers were able to overcome the high fence and immediately began to warm the animal. The dog even breathed with difficulty. Its pulse was weak and its paws were frostbitten. The most shocking news awaited the volunteers further. The owners were in a warm house, they simply didn’t let the animal go there.

A second dog was with the family in the house. Unlike the one that lived on the street, this dog was healthy and well-groomed. The owners didn’t want to explain their harsh attitude towards the animal. They only said that they weren’t interested in what would happen to the dog next.So if the volunteers wanted, they could take the animal with them.

The volunteers named the dog Blizzard. Hypothermia greatly affected the health of the dog.He had a complex pneumonia, but with the efforts of veterinarians and with the help of volunteers, Blizzard fully recovered. The dog has already made friends. So she is very happy and will be even happier when they  find a new family for her.
