Next to the multi-storey building were the workers of the construction team. And it was there that the dog landed in a pit with bitumen. The hole was very deep and the dog would not have been able to get out of it on its own.
She was up to her neck in bitumen when the children saw her and told their parents. The couple came and tried to help the poor dog, but to no avail.
They turned to volunteers. Irina and her husband Igor were volunteers and helped animals in need. The dog was very scared. The operation to rescue her lasted a couple of hours.
Igor was forced to climb into the hole in order to be able to lift the dog. At home, the animal was cleaned, given food and taken to a veterinary clinic, where they said that the dog was pregnant. Irina and Igor left the dog at home, giving her the nickname Laura.
She was incredibly calm and affectionate. She is very grateful to Igor and Irina for saving her. Soon Laura gave birth to puppies, and with them, worries increased. The puppies are also living in their homes, and then they will find caring owners.
