When a woman was cleaning one of the abandoned houses in American Indiana, she found a cat family in the basement.
Later the woman shared that the mother of her four cubs huddled in a laundry basket and they had no food or water. And the basement was under lock and key, so no one knows how long they stayed there.
The woman took the kittens upstairs, gave them something to eat and contacted animal rights activists. Volunteer Laura quickly arrived at the address and took the whole family to the nearest shelter.
The mother cat was named Goldie, and the four kitten girls: Soph, Rosie, Dorothy, Blanche.
Oddly enough, all the kittens were healthy and looked clean and well-fed, but their mother was so exhausted and she fed and nursed her babies with all her might.
Now the kittens are about one and a half months old and it is still too early to break them off from their mother, as they are strongly attached to her.
Volunteers say that the kittens are very cute, plump, red and there will be no problem to attach such charming crumbs.
