One of the largest zoos in Russia is located in the city of Novosibirsk. In addition to being the largest, it can be classified as one of the unique places where a polar bear cub was born and this is not the first time this has happened.
Polar bears are among the biggest predators on the planet, giving birth only once every two or three years, and when they aren’t in their natural habitat, this may not happen at all.
However, in December the bears Kai and Gerda became parents for the second time. A very small bear cub was born without fur and was very helpless, like all newborn cubs.
During the first months, cubs of bears are in the den with their mother until they grow up and get stronger. A month later, the little bear’s eyes and ears opened.
He was distinguished by a very good, truly bearish appetite, he has excellent health and the baby is growing very quickly. Note that the father of the family was isolated from them, since the reaction of bears is often unpredictable and he can show aggression.
When the bear cub grew up a little, then for the first time they let him out of the warm den with his mother. The kid was just delighted to be in the fresh air. He frolicked and played with might and main, and his mother actively participated in this.
Note that the zoo also announced a competition for the best nickname for this baby.
