When Scottish farmer Fiona Boyd was trying to help a stray calf return to its parents, its angry mother, a huge cow weighing half a ton, suddenly appeared and attacked the woman, knocking her to the ground and hitting her several times with her horns.
Fiona started crying and calling for help. Her cries were heard by Kerry’s horse, in a matter of seconds she was next to her mistress and stood up for her protection. Kerry began to beat the cow with her hind legs, at which point Fiona managed to run away to safety. Fortunately, she escaped with only abrasions and bruises.
