No one knows why the mother abandoned the tiger cub, which was born in one of the reserves of Pretoria. The tigress abandoned her baby almost immediately.
The guards of the reserve picked up the baby and took him to one of the local farms. There he was looked after and cared for until the baby grew up.
The tiger cub was given the nickname Manter. He was given all the conditions for a good life. However, the baby was still sad and lonely without a family. The tiger was lucky to meet a dog named Halsey.
The dog was much bigger than the tiger cub. They became great friends. Dog and tiger are always together. They don’t want to be apart even for a minute.
