Life on the street is hard enough for homeless animals, and the situation becomes worse when they are injured. So it was with Jack, who found it very difficult to go to the streets. Neighbors tried to help by giving him food, but what he needed most was a permanent shelter. After learning about Jax’s situation, the animal rights organization rushed to rescue him.
In order to reliably protect him, they decided to place traps far from the road. The task was complicated by the fact that the dog was not interested in their food, and they could not get to him. After an hour of following him, he finally stopped at the garage.
The dog was deformed, could not walk on all legs. He kept hiding under the car, looking very scared, trying to fight the rescuers. The hard life of a homeless without care and love made him lose faith in humanity and he trembled with fear.
After much effort, they finally trapped him. Jax began to calm down, as if he knew he was safe. Upon examination, they learned that Jax was born with a deformity that prevented his bones from ever fully developing in one leg.
His short and deformed leg was dysfunctional and made him uncomfortable, so they had no choice but to amputate it.
Jax recovered well from the operation and, although he lost his leg, felt much more comfortable.
Three months later, Los Angeles Animal Rescue found him a perfect home. A frightened dog turned into a playful dog and three-legged Jax remains an energetic dog enjoying the love filled life he always deserved.
