«I can’t leave them» The kittens had almost no chance to survive, but the volunteer girl didn’t give up

Two tiny kittens had almost no chance of survival. Our today’s heroes are Pippi and Dexter.

The babies were born in Phoenix, Arizona. They were abandoned by their mother cat along with their three brothers and sisters. The kittens were found on time and taken to the shelter.

A little after it became clear that all the kids were sick. They were diagnosed with panleukopenia. They probably got the disease from their mother.

An employee of the shelter Melinda wasn’t at all sure whether the kids could survive. However, the girl decided to do her best to help them.

Unfortunately, the three kittens did not manage with the virus, but Pippi and Dexter continued to fight the disease.

The babies tried to eat despite poor appetite and pain. Melinda fed them every two hours holding them in her arms.Constantly she warmed the babies and hugged them.

Surprisingly the kittens had a great desire to live. The cuties turned out to be real fighters.

After two weeks of treatment, improvements became visible and the threat to life was over. The kittens began to purr and even explore the territory.

Melinda continued to feed Pippi, and Dexter had already begun to eat on his own.

Pippi loves to play and is constantly looking for adventure.Dexter is a calmer cat who loves to eat.

Every day the kids are getting better and better. The kittens managed to overcome the disease.

Brother and sister love each other and are affectionately friends.

Volunteers decided that the sweet couple should not be separated, that’ why as soon as the kids fully recover, they will be looking for an owner who will agree to take both pets at once.

We hope these adorable babies have a long and happy life.
