Meet Ludivine, the 2-year-old Bloodhound who just happened to be the hero of the day.
This sweet dog has lived with his owner in Elkmont, Alabama all his life.In particular, she stayed on her owner’s farm for most of her days.
Suddenly, she heard some voices coming from the neighborhood.
That day, her attention was drawn to the loud voices of the marathon passing nearby.
Soon she was so carried away by the marathon crowd that she immediately rushed there to see the process with her own eyes.
She ran, making her way to the formation, and only after the participants ran, she also ran with them.
Probably, Cutie thought that people were playing with her, happily wagging their tails.
Sometimes Ludivine even changed her mind and stopped to chase a rabbit or bark at other pets, as well as sniff some herbs on her way.
So, she kept running with all the runners until the finish line.
After all, the dog could finish the marathon in 7th place and even get a medal for its participation.
Overall, she was able to record her result in one hour, 32 minutes and 56 seconds.
The organizers of the event and all the participants were so impressed with Ludivine that they changed the name in her honor to «Half Hound Dog».
